The RJC-2 clip is made of .040" thick polymer. These clips offset the insulation from the face of the steel z-girt creating airflow for rear ventilating rain screen systems.

The polymer design helps bend to slide the clip onto the steel z-girt and snap into place. This may be applied to the girt before fastening to the studs, or after the insulation is placed on the wall.
